Included hours are total monthly allowances, not additional hours stacked across plans. Work beyond your allowance is $120/hour, with your approval before any additional charges.
Depending on your plan, and subject to its monthly time allowance:
- Updating text, images, links, and existing page content
- Replacing or uploading supplied images and documents
- Updating existing product or service information
- Fixing minor formatting and layout issues
- Checking forms, navigation, and important website functions
- Reviewing basic site health, mobile usability, and security indicators
- Routine software and plugin updates when applicable and supported
These can be quoted separately.
- New website builds or complete redesigns
- New pages requiring substantial design or development
- Custom functionality, integrations, or application development
- Full SEO campaigns, ongoing content strategy, or guaranteed search rankings
- Paid advertising, email marketing, or social media management
- Extensive copywriting, photography, video production, or graphic design
- Emergency recovery, malware remediation, or major troubleshooting
- Hosting, domains, premium plugins, software licenses, or third-party subscriptions
- Third-party outages or issues outside our control
- Included maintenance time resets each billing month.
- Unused hours do not roll over.
- Work is scheduled during normal business hours.
- Requests are handled based on plan priority and availability.
- Priority Care receives priority scheduling, not guaranteed same-day service.
- Necessary website access and permissions
- Approved text, images, and other requested content
- Timely feedback and approvals
- Active hosting and third-party subscriptions where applicable
- Maintenance plans are billed monthly in advance.
- No long-term contract is required.
- Clients may cancel with 30 days' written notice.
- Monthly fees already paid are nonrefundable once the billing period begins, except where required by law.
- Additional approved work is billed separately.
Maintenance is intended to reduce website problems and keep content current. It does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete protection from security incidents, specific search rankings, or business results. Rooted Essence is not responsible for third-party hosting outages, platform failures, or changes made by others outside its control.
Final service terms are confirmed in the client agreement before work begins.
